thanks to everyone who came out last saturday night 4/21/12 to the new
LALA gallery. when we arrived mid-way through, i was told the turnout had surpassed 1200 guests, and people were still pouring though the doors as we left. nice christening of the
space! really happy to have been included in this one.
if i missed you at the show, and you were looking for the lions, there was a last minute swap -- lions for bubbles:
"i feel fine", 2012. 96"x72". collage on discarded "set"flat wood board. acrylic, gouache, spray paint, sharpie, craft paper, newsprint, tissue paper, gloss medium.
and, as expected:
"no way home 4", 2012. 37"x26"; gouache, acrylic, film tape, 24k gold leaf, artist tape, chalk pastel, gouache, charcoal, graphite, and ink on paper.
